Prostaglandin increases the contraction in the uterine muscles. In women who are found to have a large amount of prostaglandin, menstrual pain is also high due to high contraction.

Home Remedies

1). Ginger

The use of ginger during pain in periods also gives immediate relief. Finely cut the ginger piece in one cup of water and boil it. If you want, add sugar to taste. Use it three times a day after meals.

2). Papaya Use

Papaya works to compel digestion. Using it during periods gives comfort to pain. For this, cook raw papaya juice or eat papaya daily in the middle of your menstrual cycle.

3). Drink Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is also considered to be a very good remedy for eliminating the pain of periods. It acts as a painkiller. You can use green tea or chamomile tea if you want. Herbal tea contains a variety of nutrients and antioxidants that work to relieve pain during menstruation.

4). Relief from thyme

If periods are delayed, you can use thyme, boil 6 grams of thyme in 150 ml of water and cook it 3 times a day. Also, drink thyme tea 2 times.

5). Use a hot water bottle or heating pad

Fill the hot water bag, heating pad, or glass bottle with warm water and sink it to the abdomen and lower back for about 10-15 minutes. In many studies, it has also been proved that hot water is acting as medicines taken to relieve pain during periods.

6). Massage with Peppermint or Lavender Oil

Lavender and peppermint oil can also help relieve the pain of periods. Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and Jojoba oil with 3 to 4 drop lavender oil or 3 to 4 drop peppermint oil and then massage lightly in the lower abdomen and waist.  This helps in eliminating pain.

7). Dairy Products

The use of milk and milk products is very important for women. Women who lack calcium in their bodies have more menstrual problems. It is very important not only for periods but also always the use of milk and dairy products because they are found to have plenty of calcium.

Tips – The point to note is that you always refrain from sour things during menstruation. They cause inflammation in the body parts. Also stop consuming brinjal, meat, yellow pumpkin and potato
